DSPF Vendor Info & Resources

Day-of Vendor FAQs

Thank you so much for being part of the 2024 festival!

Below are some details you should know as a vendor. If there’s anything we didn’t include that you need to know, please feel free to reach out to us: info@denversmallpressfest.co.

  • The fest is at Globeville Center at 4496 Grant Street just south of I-70 near Washington.

  • Load-in will take place strictly between 10-11am on Saturday morning. There is a small parking lot on the West side of the Globeville Center for accessible parking only—please don’t use this lot unless you need an accessible spot. If you haven’t let us know yet that you need an accessible parking spot, please do so and we’ll hook u up.

  • The accessible entrance is on the West side of the building. All other load-in traffic should use the main entrance on the North side of the building, down a small flight of stairs.

  • If you need help with load-in, let us know. There will be some volunteers around who can lend a hand, but not many—so, please give us a heads-up.

  • Your table and chair(s) will be set up for you. Your table will be labeled with its table number. We will not provide table covers. Half tables will have one chair and full tables will have up to 2 (depending on what you requested). There will be some extras for those who need them, but space will be tight!

  • We will have maps onsite and volunteers available to direct you to your spot.

  • The fest will begin at 11am. The first 50 people in the door get a free DSPF 2024 tote bag (sick!). Mutiny will be set up with coffee, and there will be free Liquid Death thanks to their generous donation. There will be music and fun happenings throughout the fest from 11-4 (but no food vendors, fyi).

  • Load-out is from 4-5pm. Globeville Center has another event that begins loading in at 5pm. We have committed to respecting their space and their schedule. Thank you in advance for supporting a swift exit.

What to bring checklist:

  • Your merch (duh)!

  • A table covering.

  • Snacks and a lunch, Mutiny will have breakfast burritos for sale, (Emmanuel’s Bakery is three blocks away and a McDonalds five blocks away – that’s it).

  • A canned good to donate to Globeville Center’s Healthy Living food program (optional).

  • A mask (not required, only if you want one).

  • Change (there are no ATM’s nearby).

  • Card reader or QR code for your Venmo or PayPal.

  • A fully charged phone and/or a battery backup. There’s spotty WiFi at the rec center. Cellular data works better but drains your battery.

Fort Greene will be serving up Ratio Beer Works drink specials across the street beginning at 4pm, ($2 off Ratio cans; Cityscapes, Mexican Style Lager, Sparks Fly, and Juicy IPA) so we can mosey on over and hang out after the fest.

As mentioned in the sign up, this is a safe space for mask-wearers. Masks are not required. Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated, and, as such, we reserve the right to bounce ya if you violate this policy.

Well, that’s about all. We’re so excited!! Hit us up with questions; otherwise, see you next Saturday! ! !

xoxo
